This 6-weeks-course delves into the fundamental economic features of the platform economy, encompassing platform business models and market dynamics. Furthermore, the course offers an insightful analysis of the interaction of competition policy with ex-ante regulation in relation to different digital platforms and draws comparisons between regulatory outcomes in different regions around the world. With a multi-disciplinary approach, this course allows participants to examine this subject matter from both legal and economic perspectives.
